  • Profiles -Women in the Arts is very pleased to begin featuring Central Florida professional female artists that are excelling in their art expression and community work. We are honored to launch this promotion of artistic talent in the visual and performing arts with the recognition of local celebrity:Michele Wright, Television Host, Anchor and Women in the Arts Spokesperson.
Michele Wright is the New Face of Television. She was recently named one of Orlando's Top 10 Young & Powerful by Orlando Style Magazine.

In this role, she interviews and has the great opportunity to spotlight and partner with celebrities, local officials, leaders, business owners, professional networks, charity organizations and/or individuals who are making a difference in the community and lend a hand in changing our world for the better.

She excels in a wealth of experience in television, entertainment, art, music, fashion, news, travel, technology, GREEN solutions, charities and causes.

Michele has been recognized as the "face" of the exclusive, young professional crowd in Florida. She is one of the prestigious "movers and shakers" in Orlando. She is a native Floridian, who graduated from FSU with a double major in Political Science & Communications. She minored in French (she may even speak a little for you).

Michele is currently a Masters Degree student in Communications. She was a Training Director for a communications and marketing firm specializing in SAP and highly technical applications. She has consulted many businesses technically, and has successfully influenced effectiveness and productivity via strategic change management efforts. She is a former NFL Cheerleader (Jacksonville Jaguars), and remains an active member of the NFL Alumnae Cheerleaders Association. She is a proud full-time member of the National Association of Black Journalists.

Michele is a tough businesswoman, having owned her own preschool gymnastics company in college and now designing & managing her own new website/marketing/PR firm already with clients on a waiting list. She has been praised by many for her character and integrity. She is asked to speak at many events having her finger on the pulse of unique and upcoming professional trends. She has over 10 years in the television industry working for the following networks locally: FOX, ABC, NBC, and CBS on-air in hosting, broadcasting, commercials, print, and promotions.

People approach her all the time having seen her somewhere on TV, in a magazine, or supporting a local event. She prides herself on attending as many community events as she can. Although her credentials speak for themselves, Michele is most proud of her community work & has dedicated her life to service. She loves children (She says she's a BIG KID) and makes every effort to champion educational and fun activities in anyway possible. Therefore, she is proud of being selected as Board Advisor/Member of many youth, diversity, educational, green and other trend initiatives.

Michele has a powerful and charismatic presence that speaks life to uplift those in need. She is a true wordsmith and when she speaks, people listen...and ACT because they are touched. Her public & community relations experience is a great asset and assists her in being the voice of those who can't speak for themselves. This includes championing new ways to combat local issues and assisting with deserving not-for-profit causes.

She proudly supports the National & (Central Florida) MS Society in honor of her mother living & moving it! She was recently invited and will sit on the Board of the The Northeast Florida Stroke Consortium in honor of her father who suffered and survived a stroke. This neurological group of heavy-hitters representing many professional levels in Jacksonville is dedicated to providing education, research and resources to the community about strokes.

Michele is currently in talks with networks working on a pilot tv show named The Michele Wright Show which will promote Central Florida. The show's format is anything and everything spotlighting our community. It will feature local and national celebrities, officials, professionals, artists, charities, businesses, organizations and help the community with providing local resources (ex. job fairs, health screenings, classes, etc.). It will be the forum to cover arts, entertainment, music, fashion, local news, travel, health & nutrition, community works and exclusive events.

Women in the Arts is very proud to exhibit and promote Michele Wright's talent in the Language Arts and Communications.
